Creating an offer
Only a network can create an offer on the HOQU platform. An offer can be created only for the advertiser participating in this network.
The data for creating an offer is provided by the advertiser. When confirming the application for joining the network from the advertiser, the appointed personal manager needs to contact the advertiser to discuss the working conditions, sign the contract and receive the data necessary to create the offer.
To create an offer, select the Create offer subsection in the Offers section.
Fill in all the tabs of the form that pops up.
The form may not be completed sequentially. To switch between the tabs of the form, click on the name of the required tab at the top of the form to create an offer. Do not forget to click the Save button not to loose the progress while creating an offer. You can always edit an offer later.
Note: We will use an example piece of data.
The Main tab

Name: specify an offer name
Logo: upload an offer logo in jpg or png format, no more than 1 Mb
Verticals: choose at least one
Types: specify the payment model of your offer, the same one that you will use in the Rates tab. Choose at least one
Currency: choose a currency for the offer rates. As the offer rates currency, you can use only one of those, that are indicated in the Network→Information section. In order to add a new currency, you should add it to the Network→Information section first. In order to create the offer rates for the same advertiser's offer in two different currencies, you should create 2 offers on the HOQU platform.
Advertiser: choose an advertiser you're creating an offer for or start typing the advertiser's email.
Release date: indicate the date when the offer will become active and available for affiliates. Note, that the offer will be activated only in case it will have at least one active offer rate. Rates are activated after the offer is created.
Stop date: enter the date when the offer will be stopped
or tick the unlimited boх so as not to limit the offer by time.

Description, Rules and Notes: switch between the tabs with the language name to add a description in the selected language. If there is no description in Russian, users will see the description in English by default, and vice versa.
Affiliates will have to confirm their agreement with these Rules, when creating a campaign.
Notes will be visible only to the network itself and to the advertiser.

The Working conditions tab

Publicity level: a public offer is available for all affiliates that joined the network, a private offer is available only for affiliates that you give access to manually.
Hold: leads are confirmed automatically after the expiration of the hold period specified in the offer.
Country: indicate the country of the offer.
Moderate campaigns: when the box is ticked, affiliates have to send campaigns for moderation before they will be activated. Otherwise, the network's approval is not needed for activation of the campaign.
Traffic sources: indicate available traffic sources.

The Tracking tab

Tracking URL: this is a link to the promoted website that should open when users click on the affiliate's banner or partner link, a page where the traffic ends up. The link is provided by the advertiser. The link should begin with http:// or https:// .
Macros: macros are short commands, that are added to the link. In order to collect more detailed data about the users action from the HOQU tracker, configure the macros.
Tracking domain:
Cookie lifetime: a number of days during which a user followed the affiliate link will be assigned to a specific affiliate.
Preview URL: URL that shows the offer preview, without offer tracking.
Trafficback URL: a URL where a traffic, that do not comply with the offer terms and restrictions, goes.
Allow deeplinks: deeplinks to a specific page in -an application for iOS or Android. They are required for e-commerce to redirect the user to a user’s page.
Allow impressions: when the box is ticked, affiliates will be able to track impressions.
Allow Google Ads: when the box is ticked, affiliates will be able to get parametres for their Google Ads personal account.
Events: make it ticked to follow the event and get statistics for it.

The Rates tab

Choose Template if needed.

How much and for what kind of users’ actions the advertiser pays the affiliate is determined in the offer rates, which will come into force only after its activation. You will be able to edit the rate freely before its activation.
Action: a short name of the user action, a rate name/title. Note that in case you create two rates with the same name, they will not be able to be active at the same time.
Action description: more detailed description of the user action that the advertiser is ready to pay for.
Payment model: choose between CPA and Recurring Payments
Templates: adding extra paramentres that you want to get from the advertiser.
Payment type: advertiser payout may be fixed in the offer currency or indicated in percentage terms.
Advertiser cost: a total advertiser payout for a lead, including a network commission.
Network commission: specify it as a percentage.
Affiliate payout: will be calculated automatically with respect to the_ Network commission_.
Type: choose public or private (if private choose affiliates for who do you want to create the rate).
Activate: make it ticked to activate the rate.
Click on the plus sign to add one more rate.

The Targeting tab

Press the + button.

To configure GEO targeting, you should use the following fields from the GENERAL block: сountries, regions, cities:
if you leave these fields empty, they will be set to all by default;
select a country/region/city from the drop-down list or start typing;
the fields may contain several values;
tick the exclude boх to exclude regions indicated above from targeting. In our example, the traffic from Bavaria will be sent to trafficback URL as it does not comply with the offer conditions.

Connection types and advanced settings will allow you to target based on connection types, operating systems, internet service providers, devices and browsers.

Click the plus sign to set one more targeting condition.
After filling in the required fields in all the tabs, click on the Save button at the bottom of the window to complete the creation of the offer.
After an offer is successfully created, a page with detailed information about the offer will open automatically. A successfully created offer will have “Created” status.
Note: The created offer will become visible to affiliates only after its activation.

Add promo tools
After the offer is created and the rates are set, it is possible to add promo tools. Promo tools are also provided by the advertiser.

To do this, just click on the Promo tools button that is available on the offer page, which opens automatically as the offer is created.
This page containing offer details and statistics will be further available via the More button (Offers → Offers → choose the offer → click More or Offer’s name to open the offer page, or Promo tools to add / edit promo tools).
Add the necessary promotional materials by switching the tabs at the top. Click on Save to save the changes.

How to copy an offer?

HOQU implements the functionality of copying offers. To copy an offer, on the offer card, click on the three dots in the upper right corner, then click Copy .

After that, a copy of the selected offer with all its basic data, except for tariffs, limits, promo and data on private access, will appear on the page with the list of offers.
