Shopify is the leading e-commerce platform allowing anyone to create their own online stores. It is a perfect solution for entrepreneurs who want to launch their own online store without any hassle and high financial costs.

If you already have your store on Shopify, and want to increase the number of sales channels, while being able to track conversions from each channel and optimize the results, then HOQU is the perfect solution.

In this article, we'll show you how to easily integrate your Shopify store with the HOQU platform.

Step 1. Register your Shopify store as an Advertiser

The integration process starts with setting up a Shopify store as an advertiser of your network on the HOQU platform. To do this, go to the Advertiser registration page and create a new user:

Next, being in the Advertiser's account, find your network in the Networks section and join it.

Step 2. Create a new Offer

Now you need to log in to the platform as a Network, and create a new offer by selecting your Shopify store, which you registered as an Advertiser in the previous step, in the Advertiser field:

Please note that each of the products you sell on your Shopify store must be added as a separate Offer.

Step 3. Get the conversion pixel in HOQU

After you have created an Offer, go to Offer details and scroll down to the Integration block. Copy the pixel image code:

Step 4. Add a conversion pixel code to Shopify

Log in to your Shopify account, to the Settings -> Checkout -> Order processing section and paste the pixel obtained in the previous step into the Additional scripts field.

Remember to replace the HOQU macros with the appropriate Shopify tags:

{request_id} should be replaced with the Shopify {{order_number}} tag
{price} should be replaced with the Shopify {{total_price | money_without_currency}} tag
{action} should be with the name of the paid action, which is indicated in the rate of your offer in your network for HOQU

Now, every time a customer is redirected to the checkout page, a conversion tracking pixel is fired, and as a result, the conversion will be displayed in your Network statistics on the HOQU platform.

Step 5. Perform a test

To test the integration, create a test Affiliate account on HOQU, join your Network, and create a Shopify offer campaign.

Follow the campaign link and perform a targeted action (go to checkout page and finish a purchase), then make sure that the conversion is displayed in the Shopify statistics, in your Network statistics, as well as in the statistics of a test Affiliate.
